Business responsibility and risk management are vital for Netox. We comply with ethical principles and the Act on the Protection of Persons Reporting Infringements of European Union and National Law (1171/2022; “the whistleblower act” for short), which entered into force on 1 January 2023 and implements the European Union Directive on the Protection of Whistleblowers (Directive (EU) 2019/1937).
Netox uses an anonymous whistleblowing channel. Our employees, partners and other stakeholders can use it to report any potential misconduct that comes to their notice. The channel is for reporting suspected abuse only, and reports must always be made in good faith. All reports are treated confidentially by the Netox whistleblowing team.
Reports can be submitted either anonymously or under the whistleblower’s own name. We hope that any shortcomings in our operations are reported to us immediately. The channel can be used to report infringements like the following:
- bribes and inappropriate gifts
- infringements of competition law
- breaches of data protection legislation
- financial irregularities
- discrimination or harassment
- environmental infringements
- other serious violations of legislation or Netox’s code of ethics.
The whistleblowing service is a secure platform provided by a third party that does not store metadata or IP addresses. This ensures the complete anonymity of whistleblowers. Whistleblowers will be given IDs for communication with the Netox team. Reports are only visible to the team and to selected parties, and all cases are handled with respect for the interests of the parties involved. Once a case is resolved or the information is no longer needed, the personal data is deleted.

Netox has joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
The SBTi supports us in setting emission reduction targets that align with the goals of the Paris Agreement. The initiative’s core objective is to ensure that participating companies commit to limiting global warming to no more than 1.5°C. The project is backed by organizations such as the United Nations and WWF.
By joining the initiative, we have committed to reducing our emissions in a scientifically validated way and to regularly reporting our progress. Participation requires companies to set both short- and long-term targets, which must be approved by SBTi. Progress toward these targets is monitored in stages, and each stage is reported to SBTi. The science-based standards and measurement methods are consistent across companies, making them comparable.
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is an international organization that helps companies and financial institutions worldwide take action against the climate crisis.
Netox has set a goal to become carbon neutral by 2035.

Enviromental responsibility
