Annual Nordic security event Disobey was arranged during February 14th – 15th at Kaapelitehdas (Cable Factory) in Helsinki. The event brings together information security professionals, hackers and other interested participants. This time Netox took part in a joint team with VTT.
Known as the annual gathering of information security circles the event yet again sold out its advance tickets. The relaxed atmosphere brings on stage the top hackers and experts of the industry. In accordance with the personal look of the event the representatives of most companies were wearing dark hoodies suited for the theme.
‘This was my first time taking part and as an experience it was very interesting’, Netox Cyber Security director Markku Korkiakoski comments. ‘I warmly recommend the event. Thanks for the organizers and volunteers!’
A part of the event is a #ctf competition and this year a Netox and VTT joint team xo10 also took part. The first-timer teams coped exceedingly well ending up third!
